This position demands a professional adept in leading a comprehensive overhaul of supply chain processes, emphasizing process work and strong cross-departmental collaboration. The role spans across manufacturing facilities in Europe and a vast supply network in Europe and Asia. The successful candidate will not only transform the client’s supply chain operations but also establish a robust, self-reliant supply chain team, ensuring sustainable on-time delivery and continuous improvement in supply effectiveness post-transformation.

Strategic Supply Chain Process Overhaul:
Lead the development and refinement of efficient supply chain processes, tailored to the high-volume, low-cost production environment.
Adapt strategies to suit the distinct needs of European and Asian markets and operations.
Collaborative Leadership and Integration:
Engage closely with various departments, including procurement, manufacturing, sales, and logistics, to ensure cohesive supply chain transformation.
Cultivate a culture of teamwork and continuous enhancement across the client’s organization.
Building a Competent Supply Chain Team:
Develop a skilled supply chain team, equipping them with the necessary knowledge for sustained operational excellence.
Facilitate knowledge transfer and best practices to empower the supply chain team for future improvements.
Performance Optimization and Reporting:
Monitor and adjust supply chain initiatives to align with the client’s business goals.
Communicate transformation progress and outcomes effectively to the client’s senior management.
Sustainable and Scalable Solutions:
Implement scalable supply chain solutions to support future growth and adaptability.
Ensure the legacy of an effective and well-structured supply chain system upon completion of the assignment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Over 10 years of experience in supply chain management, ideally in a high-volume, low-cost manufacturing and distribution setting.
Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, team development, and cross-functional collaboration in a global supply chain context.
Strong leadership skills, capable of managing diverse teams and promoting a collaborative work environment.
Exceptional negotiation and strategic planning abilities.
Willingness to travel as needed between Europe and Asia.
